Websites, web apps, business systems and online stores

I design and build digital products for businesses, organizations and founders across the Philippines. Many projects combine more than one of these.

  • Websites

Your website is often the first thing people check before they get in touch. I design and build WordPress sites for businesses in the Philippines that explain what you do clearly, load quickly on a phone, and that your team can update without waiting on a developer for every change.

    What’s included

    • Business and company websites on WordPress
    • Landing pages for a product, service or campaign
    • An editor your team can use, with a short training session
    • Mobile-ready pages, contact forms and an SEO-ready setup for you or your SEO agency to build on
    • Custom-coded sites when WordPress isn’t the right fit

  • Web applications

When off-the-shelf software almost fits, people end up working around it. I build web applications around your actual process, so the software does the work instead of adding to it.

    What’s included

    • Client and member portals
    • Booking, ordering and request systems
    • SaaS products and first versions of new products
    • Integrations with the tools you already use
    • Accounts, roles and permissions
    • Testing, deployment and documentation

  • Business systems

A lot of businesses run on spreadsheets, chat threads and the one person who remembers how everything fits together. I turn that into software: one place for the data, clear steps for the work, and reports you don’t have to assemble by hand.

    What’s included

    • Internal tools and admin panels
    • Dashboards and reporting
    • Workflow and approval systems
    • Staff, partner and supplier portals
    • Inventory, orders and records management
    • Moving data out of spreadsheets and old systems
    More about business systems
  • E-commerce

Selling online takes more than a product grid. I build WooCommerce stores where products are easy to find, checkout is easy to finish, and orders flow into the way you already fulfil them.

    What’s included

    • WooCommerce stores on WordPress, which you own and can move to any host
    • Product catalogues with categories, variants, search and filtering
    • Checkout with a payment gateway that takes Visa and Mastercard, GCash, Maya and QR Ph
    • Shipping rates, order emails and stock tracking
    • Custom features WooCommerce doesn’t offer out of the box

Not sure which of these you need?

That’s where most projects start. Tell me what you’re trying to fix or build, and I’ll suggest the simplest thing that would work, even if it’s smaller than you expected.

Common questions

Do I need to know exactly what I want before getting in touch?

No. Most projects start with a problem or a rough idea. I’ll ask questions, suggest options and help you decide what’s worth building first.

Will we see the design before you build it?

Yes. Once the requirements are clear, I send you a mockup of the project. I adjust it with you, and start building once you’re happy with it.

How much does a project cost?

It depends on what the project is and what it needs to do. Tell me about it, and after a short call about the scope I send a fixed quote, before any work starts.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the project. Landing pages usually take 2–3 weeks and business websites 5–6 weeks. WooCommerce stores take about 7–9 weeks, business systems 11–13 weeks and a web app’s first version 15–18 weeks. Your proposal has dated milestones, and you see working progress throughout. I take on one build at a time, so I’ll tell you the earliest start date up front.

Who will I be working with?

You work with me, Alec Escasa. I lead every project from the first call to launch and stay your single point of contact. When a project needs a freelance designer or tester, I bring one in and stay responsible for their work.

Do you work with clients outside the Philippines?

My focus is businesses in the Philippines, but I’m open to projects from elsewhere. I work remotely, so the main thing to agree on is meeting times across time zones.

Tell me what you’re working on

You don’t need a full brief. Send a few lines about what you want to build or fix, and I’ll reply with clear next steps, usually within a few working days.
