Privacy notice

Bear.Works (registered as BEARDOTWORKS WEB DEVELOPMENT SERVICES) is run by me, Alec Escasa, as a sole proprietor in the Philippines. In this notice, “I” and “me” mean the person responsible for your information.

This notice explains what personal information I collect through this website, why I collect it, and what you can ask me to do with it. I follow the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

What I collect

When you send a project inquiry, I collect what you enter: your name, email address, company or organization, the kind of project, budget range, timeline, your description, and how you heard about Bear.Works. If you email me, I receive whatever your email contains.

This website doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and it doesn’t track you across other sites. My hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and reliability.

Why I use it

Only to reply to your inquiry, talk about your project and prepare a proposal. I don’t sell your information, and I don’t add you to a mailing list.

Who else handles it

Inquiries reach my inbox through an email delivery service, and the website runs on a cloud hosting provider. These providers process data on my behalf and may store it outside the Philippines.

How long I keep it

If we don’t end up working together, I delete your inquiry within 12 months. If we do, I keep project correspondence for as long as the project and my legal and accounting obligations require.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or object to how I use it. Email me at hello@beardotworks.com. If you’re not satisfied with my response, you can contact the National Privacy Commission.
